C&G’s recent research consultancy projects for international and local clients in the areas of sustainable development explore new insights and solutions. With unique project design, we tackle new issues and explore creative solutions for a better future.

In collaboration with the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development, Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), and Universiti Malaya, hosted the highly impactful “Advancing Sustainable Adoption and Reporting Among Women-Owned Enterprises Workshop.” The event brought together women entrepreneurs, SMEs, and sustainability experts from around the world, offering practical tools, actionable insights, and unmatched networking opportunities to drive ESG adoption and business resilience.

A joint report with GSMA and IfM, University of Cambridge commissioned by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). Exploring and identifying the role of technology and data for urban mobility and health services and policy lessons in Malaysia for climate action and health.

The consultant team led by Professor Dr. VGR Chandran, Dr. Verena Streitferdt and Dr. Sarpanes, delivered an excellent study output. The C&G Analytica team provided an exhaustive and in-depth analysis of the current DSM and energy efficiency challenges and initiatives across the ASEAN Member States. I wholeheartedly endorse this skilled and committed team for DSM policy projects as their work in the ASEAN Energy Efficiency study was exceptional besides positively influencing regional policymakers.

Dr. Sarpanes and C&G Analytica brought together a highly competent team with extensive experience across several disciplines and sectors to the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community Research and Development Project on Climate Change. Over the course of the year project, the team conducted forums with ASEAN senior officials and produced policy briefs and trend reports which proposed practical insights and policy recommendations that answer climate change-related questions and filled in critical information gaps to better inform decision-making. The results of the project will be useful for the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community in preparing for future trends and climate strategies. It was a pleasure to work together with C&G Analytica team on this project.
